Where is your review for Drive? I just saw it, think I came in my shorts during that opening scene, and I am dying to see what you thought.
I too had an explosion of manly fluids from within my pants. It's the sort of film that does that to you if you have a pair. My full review will be posted soon, but in a word: MASTERPIECE. The elevator scene is an INSTANT CLASSIC.
The only way to truly understand how amazing Drive is is to just go and see it. IN REFN I TRUST. Gosling is my new Colin. Essentially, Drive is the movie that Michael Mann and William Firedkin were supposed to CO-DIRECT back in 1985. PINK CURSIVE TITLE FONT POWER. HOLY SHIT I AM GOING TO SEE THIS FILM 10,000 TIMES! DRIVE SOUNDTRACK/SCORE = INSTANT PURCHASE. Between this and Contagion, Cliff Martinez should be up for some awards at the end of the year.
