The last hour was fantastic and it was like a Michael Bay wet dream throughout, the opening shot on what's her face walking up the stairs? Come on! I thought it was entertaining and, for my part, better than the second one. There was just so much "story" that was completely unnecessary, it made it too long. Like all the stuff with his parents and looking for a job? That could have been 60 seconds. And people died in a somewhat random fashion. As if, oh no our time limit on Jeong's contract has run out, let's kill him off...NOW. Patrick Dempsey was awful, worst villain EVER. If the bots can just morph into humans, like they did in the second movie, why wouldn't they have just infiltrated every level of government? But was I entertained? Yes!
I completely agree with you on all points, except for the fact that I think I liked the second one a bit more (overall) than the third. I do want to see Dark of the Moon again (in 2-D) just for that last hour. It was Bayrific!
