MOVIES FOR THE WEEKEND

Captain America on Satuday -- looks f'ing awesome...

From Netflix is the Malickian-sounding Spanish drama Silent Light.

Limitless is avail On Demand so I'd like to check that out as well...

"Captain America: The First Avenger" was a grave disappointment. It's not awful, but it's empty spectacle and Chris Evans is a huge bore in the role.

"Green Lantern," though...ugh. Just awful. One of my least favorite films of the year and a new low for superhero flicks.

I skipped Lantern -- heard it was terrible and didn't want to be upset.

Captain America got some awesome reviews so I'm surprised to hear you're soft on it...

Loved every decision that Joe Johnston made on Captain America. HUGE fun and wonderful, old-school entertainment.
