CALL IT, FRIEND-O

I watched some of NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN again last night. The film is perfect; it's actually scary how well done the film is. I am starting to think that it is in fact the best film to date for the Coen brothers.

I'm extremely reluctant to give away the crown that Big Lebowski has worn upon its head for the past 10 years, but No Country ranks right up there with Fargo, Miller's Crossing, and Blood Simple....EASILY.

I agree. The Big Lebowski is perfect as well. Most of their movies are perfect. I have seen The Big Lewbowski about 75,000 times at this point and it just never gets old; it gets funnier and funnier every time I watch it.

I was reluctant to replace FARGO with NO COUNTRY as the Coen's finest work to date. But after subsequent viewings....it's as perfect as they get.
