TEASER POSTER: QUANTUM OF SOLACE

Here is the slick new teaser poster for the next James Bond flick. Marc Forster (THE KITE RUNNER, STRANGER THAN FICTION) is directing from a script by CASINO ROYALE writers Paul Haggis, Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade. Daniel Craig is back as Bond and Mathieu Amalric (THE DIVING BELL & THE BUTTERFLY) is the bad guy. QUANTUM OF SOLACE arrives in theaters this November.

I'm not much of a Bond fan. I do think it's hilarious that Poland calls this Quincunx of Solipsism. And the two chicks in this movie are f-ing SMOKING.

I truly cannot stand Poland.

I thought Casino Royale was a terrific action flick that suffered from too much time at the card table. But I did enjoy Daniel Craig.

And yes...the two ladies in the new Bond film are ridiculously hot, as per tradition.

These two seemed noticeably hotter than usual, at least to these eyes...hey random question, have you seen The Prophecy? Worth watching?

p.s. - that scene at the card table felt like it was about 3 hours long. And I don't play poker, and had no idea what the hell was going on. Awful scene. Brought the movie to a dead halt.

Yes, I saw The Prophecy opening night (back in high school) in the theater. Haven't seen it since. I remember Virginia Madsen, Viggo Mortensen, and Christopher Walken being quite good in it. As I remember, it's sort of cheesy and then sort of creepy at times. It's worth renting I think.

That one chick in the new Bond film, who was in Hitman (didn't see it yet), is blindingly hot. She got topless in Hitman apparently, so I will be checking that out on DVD.

And yes, the card table scenes did bring Casino Royale to a halt. Most of the time, card playing in the movies is boring. I too don't understand what they're doing so I just go with the flow. Card scenes work in movies like Rounders where the story is all about the cards. But other than those scenes in Casino Royale, I really enjoyed it.

I tivoed The Prophecy last night. Looks like dumb fun, I've always wanted to check it out. Tonight is 'Lost' night though...you a 'Lost' man?

p.s. In Bruges this weekend...Ebert gave 4 stars...

I am most definitely a Lost fan...wouldn't/couldn't miss it.

I plan on checking out In Bruges this weekend...looks awesome...and I did see that Ebert gave it 4 stars...can't wait to read the actual review.

Nice. Most addictive show ever. Love it...warning, they were saying over on Elsewhere that Ebert gives away tons of plot details in his review. I'm gonna skip it until I see the movie.

Thanks for the heads up...I will pause on reading it too until after I see the flick.
