I have "The Fall" in my hands. Well, okay, not actually in my hands. But I've rented it, and am watching it tomorrow. Can't wait. :D
Can't wait to hear your reaction...
Just watched it. Three words: Confusing. Maddening. Masterpiece. That last one, I'm unsure about. All I know is that it's undeniable. **** all the way.
In fact, it's probably #2 or #3 on my best list. It certainly won't beat "The Dark Knight" (sorry), but it'll fight with "WALL-E" for the #2 spot. Definitely expect it in my Best-of-the-Year article. My review will come soon, once I wrap my head around it; let's face it, you HAVE to wrap your head around all the imagery and what it means, if it means anything.
Glad you liked it. It's a challenging film, not for all tastes, but for me, a towering work of imagination.
