Well, it was really good for about 45 minutes, but then there's a point at which it all becomes far too predictable. Literally every "twist" is telegraphed, including one that unravels everything and ruins the suspense the faux-meaningful ending could've had.
Oh and Gerard's villain is like Hannibal Lecter, The Joker, and Jigsaw, all the same time and because of the way he was written none at all. It's slickly made, but utterly forgettable and empty. Perfect C+ movie.
Okay, it's pretty much a perfect film. I can't stop thinking about it. It's a lot to take in on a first viewing. I may write a review, but I may see it again before doing so. You will LOVE it.

Seeing "Law Abiding Citizen" in less than an hour. No idea what to expect. "Where the Wild Things Are" with a friend tomorrow. CAN'T WAIT!
