Every performance is perfect in David Michod's masterpiece crime drama
Animal Kingdom. It's a fucking verifiable embarrassment of riches to be perfectly honest. Not one wasted scene. Not one false step in the plotting. Nothing out of order or in need of fixing. I am going to immediately buy the blu ray this week. This film is a re-watch of the highest order. The last 2 minutes of
Animal Kingdom are some of the best stuff I've ever seen. WOW. What a movie. Incredible. Everyone needs to see this film. Along with
The Square, it's been quite a year for Australian crime films. Hot diggity damn was that an amazing piece of work. More later.

I've decided that I need to see all the movies that were nominated in major Oscar categories. This qualifies. Count me in.
It's such a phenomenal piece of work. I can't wait to watch it again and again.
