I'm not entirely sure what I think about this project. Were it not Herzog, I'd flat out reject it. Seemed like they did a pretty good job the first time thru. Then again, the Herzog-Cage combo, those are two guys who COMMIT, so it could turn out interesting.
Yes, I agree, if Herzog wasn't on board, I'd have zero interest.
Cage is either going to be amazing or awful in this film...
My question is: how hard-core are they gonna get?
The good/bad thing about Cage is that sometimes he's sooo committed, that it being a good or bad performance depends on wether it's a good or bad movie. I mean, WICKER MAN was awful, but Cage at least was on the same page.
I'm betting Herzog can get something really good out of him.
I agree with your assessments of both Cage and Herzog.
could this actually be a nic cage movie i like? hopefully herzog can talk him into not using his dumb nic cage voice. i'll give it a shot...
