GENRE LISTS

After seeing this piece by filmmaker Frank Darabont (Shawshank, Green Mile, The Mist) -- http://www.empireonline.com/features/frank-darabonts-favourite-movies/ -- I've been inspired to rank my favorite movies in any given genre. Please note in Darabont's article that his picks aren't necessarily the "best" movies in that genre, but rather, his favorite. Same goes for me. I'll be posting a bunch of these coming up; hopefully the people that read this blog can share with their own selections.
