NEW RATINGS FROM THE MPAA

Robert Zemeckis's 3-D BEOWULF has been rated PG-13 for: "intense sequences of violence including disturbing images, some sexual material and nudity." I am a bit disappointed that this film isn't going to be a hard-R, especially given this year's success of the R-rated 300, which BEOWULF seems to resemble in a few ways.

Tim Burton's SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET starring Johnny Depp has been rated R for: "graphic bloody violence." A bloody, R-rated musical. Should be different and exciting.

That sucks, I hear Angelina Jolie is going to be nude in it, surprised its pg -13 even with the nudity.

yes, it's quite surprising. there has been talk of an R-rated DVD down the line with more explicit violence/nudity but it's a shame nonetheless. in the trailer, you clearly see a naked Jolie...
