THE RETURN OF THE BEST DRAMA ON TELEVISION IS TONIGHT

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. 9pm. Tonight. NBC.

This is the best drama on television. No other show is as consistently engrossing, smart, honest, and thrilling as FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. The entire ensemble of actors, especially Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton, are flat-out terrific. The football action is visceral and intense. But more importantly, you CARE about the characters. If you haven't gotten into the show yet, and last years Nielsen numbers suggest you haven't, get the entire first season on dvd and set your TIVO for a season pass and get caught up from last year before delving into this year. It's an incredible show, one you'll instantly be addicted too. This is a make-or-break first few episodes for this amazing program. If people don't tune in, it will almost certainly get cancelled.
