MOVIES THIS WEEKEND

I plan on checking out Wes Anderson's THE DARJEELING LIMITED and Tony Gilroy's MICHAEL CLAYTON on Saturday.

James Gray's WE OWN THE NIGHT on Sunday.

Also have Curtis Hanson's LUCKY YOU on dvd; the film got panned and flopped earlier this summer but I want to see for myself just how "bad" a movie could be from the director of LA CONFIDENTIAL, WONDER BOYS, 8 MILE, and IN HER SHOES and the writer (Eric Roth) of THE INSIDER, MUNICH, and THE GOOD SHEPHERD.

I also picked up this year's horror movie (and best of the bunch thus far) 28 WEEKS LATER. It's a tight, nasty, bloody piece of scary cinema; I enjoyed it even more than the first film in the series.

I agree 28 Weeks later is the best horror flick this year, but 1408 would definately have to be #2. FINALLY a decent PG-13 horror film.
